20. Found a place to call home, never sure how long it will last. Accepted into McMaster University Social Science I for September 2012. Living and breathing, but no day is guaranteed.

I'm a survivor. I'm built to survive. But I've been trained to destroy myself.
What side will win, is the ultimate question.

All I'm looking for is my very own fairytale. But I'm learning that it may not be so simple.

My own reality?
It's not that easy, Abby.

I guess I've got to construct my own wings to fly. I can't keep gliding in your updrafts.

I've been through a lot. Self-harm. Abuse. Suicide attempt. Scary psych ward rooms in hospitals. But I'm more. I'm determined to be more. And I believe, in you and in me, to survive.

Keep your chin up, Beautiful. We'll drown slower that way.
